Dale 114, a baby book (4 copies) Dale 129, a baby book (sold out) Park City, an Olympic ski sweater (1 copy) Vail, an Olympic ski sweater (6 copies) Once those books are sold we won't be able to get more. Because of that, I am selling off some of the Dale Baby Shop Models. These are all professionally knit. We purchased them from the Dale company for considerably more than we are asking for them. You can have an instant baby gift! Only one of each is available, so hurry. I'll update this blog as they are sold. -SOLD- Roxi| 7:24 AM 0 comments
I have a very limited supply of these 3 colors of spinning fibers. This was a special purchase and I won't be getting more. As of this posting I have exactly 2 lbs. of each colors, divided into 8 oz. bags. 2 lbs. is enough to spin for a ladies medium sized sweater. The 8 oz. bags sell for $24.99 each. The roving is a mostly wool but may contain other fibers, as well. Colors available are: Vine Maple (a blend of red, brown, gold); Iris (multi purple, green, white); and Ocean Blue (a blend of blues and green).

I know, you can't read what they say in the picture. One of them says, "Friends don't let friends knit drunk." Another states, "There's a fine line between hobby and mental illness." "I walk the line." And many more. Something for every occasion. These cards are well made and are kept preserved in their own little plastic dust cover. Each card features an actual knitted swatch and tiny needles. Also newly arrived this week, more great patterns from Two Old Bags. 7 lacy shawls, and the famed Lucy Bag. And something else for the sock knitters, a new colorway for Trekking. This one reminds me of those Brach's Neapolitan Coconut candies. You know the ones. Mmmmm...it's making me hungry. The newsletter has been mailed and folks are already signing up for the spring classes, so hurry if you see a class you'd like to take. I also wanted to mention that we've had an overwhelmingly positive response to the new palm wood Crochet Hooks. They're wonderful! Roxi| 9:34 AM 3 comments

Here are some new arrivals for this entry. First up, TOFUtsies from SWTC. This is the perfect sock yarn for the spring and summer. Fingering weight, 464 yards, 100g, 50% superwash wool, 25% soysilk, 22.5% cotton, and, get this, 2.5% chiton. What's chiton, you ask. It's a fiber derived from the shells of shrimp and crabs. I know. Ewww! But, trust me, this yarn is wonderful. And the chiton is a natural antibacterial. Here's a little sample sock knit from TOFUtsies: And here is a very small selection of the colors we have in stock. There are 2 new additions from Rowan Yarns.
