Let's Go Bagless
Lamb’s Ear would like to help keep plastic bags out of our environment. We encourage our shoppers to bring their own shopping bags. When you check out we’ll ask if you’d like a bag. If you don’t, or you provide your own, we’ll deduct $.03 from your total. Let’s work together to reduce our carbon footprints.
Of course we’ll continue to provide plastic bags for our customers who prefer them.

Here’s something to work on over the summer. Lamb’s Ear is sponsoring a design contest.
$100 gift certificate for the first prize winner
$50 gift certificate for second prize
$25 gift certificate for third prize
$10 for honorable mention (just for entering)
How do you enter? Design a knitted item of your choice. Knit it up using yarn purchased from Lamb’s Ear. Submit the written pattern and finished item for judging. Items need to be received by 9-1-08. This gives you plenty of time to work on your submission. All entries will then be displayed in the shop and Lamb’s Ear customers will vote for their favorite. Entry forms will be available starting in June.

FREE Help on Sun. & Mon.
As a big Thank You to our awesome customers we would like to offer you FREE help on Sunday and Monday. Just stop in with your problem and Errol will do his level best to help you.
There are 2 conditions, though, just to keep things fair.
The yarn for the project you are seeking free help with MUST be from Lamb’s Ear (of course).
You must be willing to be patient and let Errol assist you between waiting on other customers.
If you purchased your yarn elsewhere he’ll still be happy to help you but you’ll need to pay him $5 for his effort. If he isn’t able to help you he’ll cheerfully refund your money. He is an intermediate knitter and can help most of our knitters with their problems. He’ll be honest and upfront if he doesn’t think he can assist you. All you’ll be out is your time if he can’t.
Sound good? I hope some of you will find this new service useful.
