...from a yarn overdose. Rick and I had a chance to attend the NW Needle Market this morning. We had to get in and get out pretty fast, since he had to work this afternoon. But we had plenty of time to fondle and purchase. Ohh la la! So many lovely goodies to peruse. And some even came home with us today. But first, I have to show off my first ever lace shawl. I was knitting like a fiend right up until 11pm last night. Then I had to block it. I was hoping it would be dry by this morning, so I could wear it to the market. It was...and I did. The thing blocked out so big that it wouldn't all fit in the picture. It's as wide as a twin sheet is long. This is a close-up of the stitch pattern. I used Fiber Trends Shoal water Shawl and some of my hand dyed lace weight merino yarn. Okay, now that I've had a chance to brag, let me get to today's booty. How about some lovely hand dyed lace yarn. This wasn't done by me...but it's the next best thing (I'm JOKING). There is just one skein available of each color. Here are some wonderful straw totes. Generous sized. Lined, with handles and metal feet on the bottom. I have 4 available, but can always get more. These little beauties are circular needle cases. I have one of each color shown. They're silk and look at the best feature...they're labeled!!! How about some unique hand dyed sock yarn. Why is it unique, you ask? Because it's an alpaca, wool, nylon blend. Can you say sssooooofffffttttt? 15 skeins available. Need a sophisticated closure for a shawl or sweater? I've got just what you need. Here are some one-of-a-kind fused glass shawl pins. Or how about these? Only one of each item available, except those nifty bone knit stix. I have lots of those and they're a bargain at just $9.99 each. Did you notice the adorable sheep shawl pin and sheep earrings? I only have one of each but can get more, don't worry. And still more yarn, hand dyed silk/merino in a worsted weight. Enough here to do a lace scarf and we just happen to have a couple of free patterns at the shop that'll work perfectly. Only one of each color. Remember, there are very limited quantities of the above items in stock. Some I can get more of...but many are one-of-a-kind. If you see something you can't live without you can always pay for it with paypal or visa/mc and I can hold it for you. Roxi| 4:51 PM 0 comments 0 Comments:1greenEYE Designs |
