Vintage Local Spinning Wheel For Sale

Due to severe overcrowding in my fiber studio, I need to find a new home for this lovely wheel. It was hand crafted in the 1970's, in Tacoma, by a fellow named Bartholomew. This Norwegian style wheel comes with 9 bobbins, a built in kate, as well as a separate Lazy kate. It is in excellent condition, however it does require one small and inexpensive weld repair. The asking price reflects this need. Otherwise it's in tip-top shape, ready to give you years of spinning enjoyment.

The price is $500 firm, and well worth it.

More pictures are available, or make an appointment to come see it in person.

Crock Pot Dye Class Still Has Room

This weekend is our crock pot dyeing class. I'll show you how to turn this

into your own colorful one-of-a-kind yarn using one of the following 3 techniques.

#1: Nearly Solid

A variegated yarn using one single dye color.

#2: Random Variegation

A variegated yarn using just 2 dye colors. You'll end up with 3 colors randomly placed.

#3: Placed Variegation

A variegated yarn using 3 dye colors. You'll end up with 6 colors (here I've dyed a rainbow colored yarn).

You still have time to sign up for the class and find a crockpot. Don't miss out on the fun! Call 253-472-7695 during our regular business hours or email me at rockfarm(AT)gte(DOT)net
The class will begin at 1 pm this coming Saturday, August 11th at Lamb's Ear Yarn in Tacoma, WA. 4631 Pacific Ave. 98408
